A bit of alliteration. I like that.
A most promising sign?
I thought I knew some things once but now I am not so sure. Even one's own history becomes elusive and shadowed over time.
The comments on the blog ('Peeling the Onion') tend to be a little obscure, and are largely personal in nature with an occasional literary reference thrown in. I would like to offer a world of rich imaginings, obviously, but I'm not quite up to that yet and may never be.
ABOUT MOI: There's not much to say. (See above).
WHAT IS THE POINT THEN?: There was graffiti on the walls of Pompeii, people who could write have recorded their doings and thoughts in journals and diaries for ages. People with slightly more advanced capabilities write poems and plays and novels. The more musically inclined sing their songs, merry or sad. The artist draws or paints and the sculptor moulds his materials to express his vision. Generally speaking people have got to get what is inside out. It is a strange compulsion in some ways but quite recognisably human, I suppose. I'm no expert.
SO WHAT'S ON HERE?: In the end it will be a magpie's collection, a reflection of the times, and, possibly, even an occasional lifting of the veil but it is hard to be certain about these things.
